Terms of Use for “Remembering Itay Chen”

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the “Remembering Itay Chen” website (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Site.

1. Purpose of the Site

The Site is a memorial and informational platform created to honor the life and legacy of Itay Chen. Users may view content, submit tributes, and access donation options supporting causes chosen by the family. The Site is not a commercial service and is provided for commemorative and charitable purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to submit content or interact with the Site beyond passive browsing. By using the Site, you represent that you meet this requirement.

3. User Submissions (Tributes, Messages, Photos, Stories)

You may have the option to submit tributes, messages, photographs, or stories (“User Content”) either directly on this Site or through the associated Merit Spread Foundation donation page.

By submitting User Content, you agree that:

- You grant the Site’s administrators a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, share, reproduce, and use your content for memorial and charitable purposes.

- Your content may be publicly visible on this Site, the donation page, and/or related materials.

- You will not submit unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or inappropriate content.

- You will not include sensitive personal information.

- You may request removal or editing by contacting rubychen.email@gmail.com.

4. Donations

Donations made through the Site are processed by the Merit Spread Foundation, not by the Site itself.

- Israel public-benefit company with tax recognition under Section 46

- Foundation handles receipts, tax acknowledgments, and donor data

The Site does not store payment information and is not responsible for payment errors or tax determinations.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site is protected by copyright. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute content without permission, except for personal use related to Itay Chen’s memory.

6. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

- Interfere with Site functionality

- Upload malware or harmful code

- Use the Site for commercial or political purposes

- Harass or impersonate others

7. Third-Party Services

The Site may link to third-party services including Wix and Merit Spread Foundation. We are not responsible for their content or policies.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties
